Toasted nut oils, pressed from premium nuts heated and browned on a flat grill, provide rich flavors in a wide variety of culinary applications. Once opened, keep all nut oils refrigerated for longer shelf life. Nut oils can become rancid over time if left in the hot kitchen.
The full, rich flavor of toasted hazelnuts makes this oil ideal for raw or cooked dark greens, complex full-flavored salads dark greens. A light drizzle will make salads come alive with the rich flavor of toasted hazelnuts. Best use directly on salads in other recipes, hazelnut oil has a low smoke point and should not be used for high temperature, prolonged sautéing.
